Saint Mary's College Partnership Program

Women's Leadership Sails

Early morning sail on Lake Michigan

Whether you are a professional working woman, community leader, or a full-time mom, expanding your leadership skills in today's challenging and ever changing world takes courage and commitment. Courage to own your strengths and development needs, ask for support and commit the time to make it happen.

Our Women's Leadership Sail program is a shared-learning forum for Saint Mary's alumnae. The Unicorn's professional crew establish a fun learning environment. Working alongside fellow alums, experience immediate, observable action by participating in the navigation and maneuvering of a traditionally rigged, yet well appointed, 110-foot schooner.

The ship leaves the dock at 1:00pm for a 4-hour adventure and begins with a personal emotional intelligence assessment and ends with a group facilitated session to connect the dots between your shipboard experience and life at home. Each alumna will gain insight into her strengths and areas of development to leverage her talents more effectively.

This program is designed for women who want to gain personal growth and leadership competency in the company of women who already share a unique common bond...our Saint Mary's experience. Strengthen skills in strategic thinking, leadership problem solving, decision-making and being part of a team with fellow alumna with a tangible objective.
