Each summer, the American Sail Training Association brings together a fleet of tall ships from around the world. Over 20 tall ships will grace the Great Lakes in 2010. Under full sail, cannon fire and while crews scurry to brace the yard arms as the wind shifts, the tall ships race from port to port in friendly competition.
Unicorn has been participating in tall ship events organized by the American Sail Training Association since 1997. Thousands of community members tour her wooden decks, talk with crew members about their tales at sea and life aboard a tall ship. In the evenings, Unicorn's luxurious interior and spacious aft deck is an ideal setting for corporate receptions providing front row seats to festival fireworks and waterfront concerts.
